hi i purchased a brand new truck back in 1997 from ford motor company the truck was paid a long while ago but ford motor company still is under the lien how do i change it to my name im solely the only owner but failed to change it awhile back...please, im in desperate need of help and need to sale the truck soon. If you don't hold the title, contact your local DMV to see if the vehicle still shows a lien to Ford Motor Credit. If it does not show a lien, you will simply need to order a duplicate title. If the DMV shows a lien to Ford Motor Credit, you will have to contact Ford Motor Credit to get a duplicate title or at the very least a lien release from them so that you can apply for a duplicate title.
