How hard is it to put a fuel pressure gauge on a stock 1989 ford mustang gt?

just bought the 89 ford mustang and i am planning to make some modifications to make it a street/strip car. I have heard that when racing your car at a drag strip it is a must to have a fuel pressure gauge so then when ur pressure drops you notice and get out of it. So, how hard is it to put a fuel pressure gauge on. In a stock mustang its not really necessary. They sell some guages that connect to the fuel rail but obviously u cannot read that inside the car. For in car just buy an electronic autometer guage and follow the instructions to install.
