I am trying to buy a ford galaxy intergrated child seat from ebay. Some come with head restraints and some don't although the sellers always say that is how they came. Does anyone know if this is safe or not?Is it safe to use a ford galaxy child seat without a neck restraint?Everyone should have a head restraint in a car. Whiplash accounts for for 80% of injury claims in accidents. Children should not be put at risk. If the child seat doesn't have a head restraint, don't use it. Incidentally, it is extremely dangerous to use a 2nd-hand safety item. You don't know if it has been in a crash situation and therefore could be putting someone at risk.
