Long term there no way that you medical benefits will not be greatly reduced. They are one of the main reasons US automakers are failing.

What does this mean for current health benefits for Ford retirees?
Ford and the UAW came to an agreement and one of things decided was that Ford would put stock into a union run trust fund for retiree health benefits. What exactly does that mean and will the benefits change?What does this mean for current health benefits for Ford retirees?Hard to say. It means the UAW will be responsible for those benefits and will have to pay them, not Ford. It removes future liability from Ford to pay your benefits.
