On the other hand, I've seen vehicles that were maintained poorly or not at all that were essentially toast after 30K and a couple of years.
Ford trucks are durable and dependable - they've led the market for more than 30 years with good reason. There are a boatload of '05s to choose from; look for a well-maintained, adult-driven truck, preferably with good service records available for your review. Within reason, odometer mileage is less important on a used truck than on a car.
Good luck! How many miles will a ford f150 last before breaking down?As with any vehicle, how well it was maintained.
I bought my 98 150 new and has 139,000 and I changed the plugs and battery last summer.
If that helps any.
