How much would it cost to replace the speakers in my 99 Ford Escort?

I have a 99 Ford Escort Sport with a CD deck in the trunk. My radio works fine, but my speakers are shot. What would you recommend for good replacement speakers? (They don't need to be top of the line, but I don't want crap either.) Is there a way to find out what size I would need? Also, about how much would it cost to have someone replace them for me?
