This is in AUD btw. What is currently the best performing desktop for dell?I would recommend you building it or buying something else, but if you said it has to be dell i wont deny the question and give you useless facts. Here are 2 dell desktops, the first one i recommend, the second if you dont like the first. Btw, Do you game? if so either would do fine.
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/c鈥?/a> Change the hard drive option to RAID 0, 1TB
Change the VIDEO CARD: To ATI Radeon HD 5870. Only do this if your going to game or do any graphical things. Otherwise 5670 would do just fine.
I highly recommend this one because its Sandy bridge, which is actually much better for the price.
This one comes with a monitor, so if you dont need a monitor just take it out.
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/c鈥?/a> Change the hard drive to RAID 0 option and your all set. Becomes 1,510, hopefully that 10 isnt a problem.
But really if i were you, i'd choose the option to build one (which is a lot easier than you think) or buy something else. But hey, if it has to be dell then here you go.What is currently the best performing desktop for dell?Umm... I don't know DELl (I've heard its bad) so im not going to try it, however I will tell you what you should look for when buying one!
Processor: i5 or i7 you should be good! (I've heard i3 sucks)
RAM: 1GB = Upgrade... 2GB = eh.. alright 3GB = now were talking, 4GB = perfect!
Hard Drive: something thats 500GB or higher should be good!
and ya... the other stuff is pretty basic! but those are things you might wanna look out for when buying a DELL!
