How can I restore my Dell computer to its original settings. I don鈥檛 want to restore it to a past point I want to wipe everything out and restore it like it is new.How can I restore my dell computer?When you first restart your PC there is usually a message that says press F11 for recovery or something similar. If not then just press F8 repeatedly, press the down arrow to select Repair your Computer on that menu then press Enter. Specify the language settings that you want, login as a user who has administrative credentials then click OK. Click Dell Factory Image Restore, then click next. Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition then click next. The computer is restored to the default factory configuration then when it's finished click Finish to restart the computer.
Please remember that doing this will erase all your data. Make sure you have backed up your information to avoid losing valuable data.
