May sony handicam has I link ports and my dell computer does not. It has many usb ports, Is there the proper cable???How do I connect a sony handicam trv730 to a dell dimension 8300 computer???Please add details. I'm not sure because the question is a little hard to read, but there should be a cable that comes with the Camera that can plug into a port on the camera that has the USB logo and a USB 2.0 port on your computer. Also, if you find your sound won't upload, then try taking the wire used to show the video/audio on a TV and plug an audio wire into the audio out port and put the part of the cord that looks like a headphone jack into the microphone port on the back of the computer. (Yes this is all personal experience.) If that was not what you were looking for then I apologize. (USB logo here if you don't know what it looks like.)
