How do you stop the blinking LED light on my Dell Inspiron 530 when in sleep mode?
When I put my Dell Inspiron 530 desktop computer into sleep mode, a LED light on the front of the tower blinks. It's surprisingly annoying. Is it possible to change the rate of blinking or completely stop it? I'd like to avoid completely removing the LED. Thanks for your time! How do you stop the blinking LED light on my Dell Inspiron 530 when in sleep mode?Just turn it off. It takes nearly the same amount of time to turn on as it does to bring it out of sleep mode anyway. And you're not wasting electricity. How do you stop the blinking LED light on my Dell Inspiron 530 when in sleep mode?LOL, the Geek Squad is useless. Someone I know had a wireless problem and he could not even fix it. Dummy me fixed it. You can remove the LED or just put duck tape over it or some kind of sticker that would make it look like "it's supposed to be there". My Dad (a carpenter) would use duck tape, lol. Keep It Simple....
