I ordered a computer yesterday and it's been "in production" since. I know it was just yesterday I'm not not worried about it just wanted to know about how long on average does it stay in production before they ship it (Dell Studio XPS 8100)How long does Dell computer order stay in production?about a week, I think. Their term "In production" is not in fact the truth in most cases. There is a supply of your computer somewhere and it is only a matter of selecting one for you and dispatching it to you. but rather than say we are very slow at doing that so it will take 14 days, they say it is production so you will feel that yours is straight off the assembly floor.How long does Dell computer order stay in production?im geussing 2 weeks to 2 months+
