Why does my dell touchpad sometimes act different?

Why does sometimes my dell touchpad not make the mouse go like i want it to like when i go left with my finger the mouse goes off to the right? it's aggravating sometimes.Why does my dell touchpad sometimes act different?Touchpads can be flaky, and the only real fix is to replace them. I've replaced many for customers for that very problem, thankfully they're usually still under warranty too. If it's still under warranty, contact the store you purchased it from or call Dell.
