How do you remove a ford key tumbler?

I have a 96 ford mustang and the key tumbler currently went out on me, I have taken all of the stuff that is around the tumbler off to get to it, I just dont know how to take it out? Does anyone have an idea?How do you remove a ford key tumbler?Turn the key to the run position and an the bottom side of the steering column is a little hole with a button that you push with a small screwdriver or punch. DO NOT turn the new tumbler until it is installed into the column. Put the new one in and turn the key and make sure it is fully seated and the little button is holding it into the column securely.
