I'm trying to help a friend, but I know nothing about AMD Processor's. But what I do know is his processor sucks, so we need to know what kind of decent processor he might be able to get in replace of the crappy one he has. You can go to the Athlon 64 x 2 5600 or 6000. These may be hard to find. You will need to shop. Hope it helps.
