I've been trying to learn to speak some tagalog. The whole story behind it is too much, but I'm trying to say something...I'm trying to memorize words and such but I'm not sure if this is correct. "Ikaw ang ibig sabihin ng lahat ng bagay sa akin." Can someone tell me what that means? I just want to make sure its correct. My friend told me to try a translator, but sometimes translators online are wrong. Please and thank you%26lt;3Attempting to learn tagalog. Is this correct?
"You are what everything means to me."
The sentence in Tagalog sounds kinda weird, to me anyway.Attempting to learn tagalog. Is this correct?
In english, that is
"You mean everything to me".
But if you want to say the tagalog translation of the sentence above, it must be:
"Ikaw ang lahat sa akin".
Actually, "ibig sabihin" means mean. If you shall use "ibig sabihin" further on the sentence, that sounds redundant especially that the sentence "Ikaw ang lahat sa akin" through context, explicitly means the same thing as the sentence far above.Attempting to learn tagalog. Is this correct?
"You mean everything to me".
It can be translated like that in English, but like J.J said, it's kind of weird when you hear the Tagalog sentence. XD
Good luck on learning Tagalog and try your best! ^_^
